It takes less than 10 minutes.With your deep technical expertise and a strong affinity for innovation, you will drive biomedical innovation in the fields of organoids for research and routine and bio-engineered tissues for medical applications. You will support the Program Manager Organoid Solutions in developing and implementing an emergent strategy for ZEISS in Organoid Solutions. You will extend and maintain a network of experts in the field of advanced 3d in-vitro models (spheroids, organoids, organ-on-chip) and identify and evaluate opportunities in the innovation sweet spot of desirability, feasibility and viability. As part of an interdisciplinary team you will conduct innovation and market studies, identify customer needs, and develop solution concepts. You will initiate and drive projects to implement solution concepts in proof-of-concept demonstrators. Furthermore, you will steer projects with external partners in the development of novel biomaterials and bio-engineered tissues for medical applications and ensure the transfer of relevant knowhow to ZEISS. You will develop new business and venturing proposals and support the successful transfer of concepts, technologies, and solutions to ZEISS business units. A university degree in science or engineering with a focus on the life sciences, ideally with a PhD In-depth knowledge of cell and developmental biology and biochemistry. Relevant experience in at least one of the areas of tissue engineering, iPSC, Bio Inks, Organoids, and/or OOC. A holistic view of innovation and a desire to take topics beyond technology to market success. Ideally experience in project management and coordination of external networks and partners Ideally initial experience in innovation management and relevant methodologies such as design thinking. Excellent communication skills.
