Chemisch-technischer Assistent (m/w/d)

Für einen international agierenden Betrieb aus dem Maschinenbau für Abfüll- und Verpackungsanlagen, mit einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung im östlichen Hamburg (Grenze zu Ahrensburg), suchen wir schnellstmöglich im Labor für den Bereich der Barriere-Technik zwei chemisch-technische Assistenten (m/w/d), CTA (m/w/d), PTA (m/w/d) o.ä. in Vollzeit. Der traditionelle Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer ist schon über 50 Jahre am Standort Hamburg ansässig und einer der weltweit führenden Unternehmen im Bereich der Getränkeindustrie. Die Betreuung der Messgeräte im Labor für Permeationsmessungen (O2, CO2, H2O) wird eine Ihrer Hauptaufgaben sein. Sie führen Messreihen im Labor durch und arbeiten die Messergebnisse auf (inkl. Dokumentation etc.) Die Ausführung von Versuchsplänen zu Belastungstest und zur Prozessentwicklung gehört ebenfalls zu Ihren Aufgaben. Sie verfügen über eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich CTA, PTA o.ä. Sie konnten bereits Berufserfahrungen in einem Labor sammeln (das ist Voraussetzung). Start als Berufsanfänger mit o.g. ADM has an opening for a Research Engineer (m/f/d) at our Corporate Process Development Research Center. Your Challenge This Research Engineer is responsible for driving process improvement and process development projects focused on implementation of new technologies in existing production and piloting facilities. This role will supervise the evaluation of existing production equipment and recommend improvements in support of the production of renewable chemicals, food and feed ingredients, as well as biofuels and its advanced generations. This position will provide mass and energy balances, P&IDs, and economic evaluation, as well assupporting documentation and project reports, and will work with a variety of groups, including vendors, contractors, Operations, Commercial, and R&D teams. Conduct engineering studies and recommend process changes for industrial food, industrial chemical, and advance biofuels processes Evaluate production and pilot process upsets to determine root causes and recommend process changes to improve performance Prepare mass and energy balances of unit operations or whole plants Assess various performance specifications for key unit operations or equipment Design of experiments for plant and pilot trials, or to provide technical support to existing facilities Work with Center of Excellence, plant engineers, vendors, and contractors to set up equipment and support pilot or plant trials in industrial environments Write detailed reports and prepare comprehensive presentations Plan and execute engineering and research projects, including implementation and supervision of proposed changes in the field as needed as well as plan and execute hands on laboratory trials & sample preparation Ensure compliance with the established safety guidelines of the company and the laboratorys Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent and 4-8 years of experience in process operations and design and/or piloting improvement projects in the food, animal feed and/or chemical industry Extensive experience with a range of unit operations, such as filtration, distillation, evaporation, centrifugation, carbon treatment, ion exchange, chromatographic separation, solids handling, drying and varied chemical reactors is desired. Experience with evaluation and implementation of new technologies into existing production facilities is desired Understanding of complex system interactions and ability to identify the root causes of process irregularities: i.e. 5 Why’s, gap analysis, root cause analysis Well-developed analytical skills to analyze and interpret scientific data during design and evaluation of chemical processes Preferably experienced with online analytic applications & advanced analytic tools Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of data and multiple projects Strong leadership skills to encourage open collaboration, provide expertise, and positively contribute to Research teams Willingness to travel to multiple locations in EMEAI and to switch to a shift schedule, if needed for plant trials Willingness to spend time in plant areas, tolerate extreme temperatures, walk long distances, stand, climb stairs and ladders, and move through close spaces Skills such as good communication, curiosity, integrity, mechanical aptitude, problem solving, independent judgment, teamwork, perseverance, attention to detail and commitment to safety round out your profile.
