JOB ID: 20009299 Product development of solvent and water-based heat seal coatings, primers, overprint varnishes, and other functional coatings within our packaging adhesives product development team Responsibility for raw material testing and approval Consideration of raw materials used in new formulations and approval of alternative raw materials for existing products Effectively manage development projects in collaboration with business development, sales, marketing, and technical customer service teams Occasional handling of inquiries and application technology support for functional coatings customers Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or another relevant field, e.g., as a Chemist, Chemical Engineer; alternatively, further training as a Chemical Technician or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in the field of flexible packaging and/or CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) Familiarity with common coating technologies and knowledge of product requirements to apply them with different coating systems Network in the field of raw material manufacturers and broad knowledge of raw material classes used in the field of the mentioned coatings Good knowledge of English, German is an advantage

JOB ID: 21015768Create a market overview about battery disassembly processes and related material requirements as well as a gap analysis Work together with internal experts & external partners on new battery system designs for automotive understanding the battery disassembly challenges Prepare an assembly & disassembly strategy as well as predicting material needs to simplify second life transformation and battery recycling Develop a product roadmap incl. preparation of product specifications in cross functional teams creating sustainable solutions for the end-of-life disassembly of batteries Establish industry network & be a thought leader for Henkel in battery recycling Drive scouting for the expansion of existing product portfolio Master or PhD in Material Science, Physics, Process engineering or similar Profound knowledge in the area of battery recycling processes as well as converting batteries for second life use Strong technical expert with several years of industry and/or research experience in battery assembly & disassembly processes Broad knowledge of current state of the art battery designs, materials, cell performance, cost and trends in research & development Ability to take the initiative and high degree of flexibility Above-average team spirit and enjoyment in an agile working environment Ability to analyze and understand complex contexts in detail and to communicate in a way that is appropriate for the target audience Fluent English language skills, German would be a plus
