So let’s talk today.What you will doThe Digital Solutions Pre-Sales Engineer will drive the technical development of JCI Digital Solutions platform (OpenBlue) and applications during the sales process. You will be responsible to identify, qualify and help close new business within the assigned target accounts, leveraging compelling value propositions that Digital Solutions provide.You will work closely with the Digital Solutions Director CE and the Integrated Solutions teams to ensure a comprehensive plan is in place to achieve technical objectives.How you will do it * Ensure the rigor and integrity of the overarching solutions and key applications to meet the customer requirements during the sales * Responsible for the ongoing development of the architecture to ensure it supports the business outcomes of the customer * Responsible for demonstrating solutions, managing customer requirements, leading workshops, analyzing business requirements and driving functional and technical solutions * Owns the customer technical interaction throughout the entire sales lifecycle of a project * Responsible to prepare the complete Digital Solution offers in local language with value proposition * Create standard digital solution offer templates including local customer success services and the project/ service calculation tools with the global team and train all country resources on these tools * Conducts workshops with customers on-site to gather and document "as is" and "to be" business process and solution design requirements * Translation of business requirements into solution concepts in closed alignment with the Business Analysts, Domain Experts, Data Scientist and DevelopersWhat we look for * Work experience as technical pre-sales engineer, ideally within software solutions * Experience within software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development * Ability to clarify complicated technical concerns to non-technical individuals * Good knowledge of Building Operations and Services to determine value proposition * IT & OT governance, operation and system management knowledge * Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills * Organizational, project and program management planning skills * Fluent in English and German.
