Brand Marketing Manager - Insights & Product

In the 1980’s Dietrich Mateschitz developed a formula known as the Red Bull Energy Drink. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. The Brand Manager - Insights & Product (Red Bull Energy Drink & Organics by Red Bull) is responsible for understanding and gathering consumer insights and market research, specifically what drives TOM awareness, brand salience and per capita consumption. You'll drive business growth by strategic product portfolio planning and execution for Red Bull Energy Drink as well as Organics by Red Bull. Works closely with the Head of Brand to contribute to the annual business plan by developing consumer & shopper insights driven strategy, propose and execute new launches & packaging solutions whilst ensuring the brand is portrayed in the right way.Areas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: CONSUMER INSIGHTS & MARKET RESEARCH Turn data into compelling insights which are actionable & relevant, and ensure these insights are addressed through adequate ideas and plans. With a focus on the younger segment of the target group, monitor consumers’ perception about brand and products in social media. Identify emerging digital trends, seek out new opportunities, apply them to the Red Bull strategy and pro-actively propose future focus areas for the brand. Work closely together with all other insights sources (Off & On Premise) to contribute to a common insights picture. CONSUMER RELATION Lead and coach Brand Specialist Consumer Relation to best in class outcome. Successful implement new digital tools e.g. chatbot, Zendesk Professional. Use Consumer Relations as bonding opportunity for consumers but also to gather further insights for the business and the brand. GENERAL MANAGEMENT Work closely with the Head of Brand and all other country marketing and HQ specialists to share learnings, best practices, to align plans, share latest updates and insights. Manage and maintain the agreed budget. Builds a strong, transparent, trusty partnership and cooperation with management and personnel. PRODUCT MARKETING Align and implement the ideal country-specific product/SKU portfolio strategy (incl. packaging solutions) ensuring international/local learnings, and best practices are taken into consideration. Lead and manage cross-functional best in class 360° product launches, consumer activations for Initiatives together with sales, finance & other marketing functions. Act as key contact for Red Bull HQ. Create branding and through the line product communication (labels, key visuals, POS masters, media creatives & format adaptions) in strong collaboration with the respective marketing and sales functions while ensuring communication stays within the brand equity. Lead the Organics Task Force to cross-departmental outcome to deliver Business Plan on strategy. BRAND MANAGEMENT & STRATEGY Support the Head of Brand in developing the strategic direction to increase brand equity and finally for maximizing sales. Deliver the Insights & Product part of the brand marketing business plan. Manage research & creative agencies to ensure correct contractual set-up and strong working relationships to deliver world-class output. Supports the Head of Brand in conducting product & brand trainings and act as key contact for HQ Product Expert.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Several years of (product) marketing experience - prior FMCG experience preferred. Clear understanding of competitor activity and consumer behaviour in a brand and FMCG context. Experience in gathering and utilizing consumer insights and translating learning into action.
