The purpose of Corporate Treasury is to manage the company’s liquidity, solvency and financial market risks. Corporate Treasury’s Middle Office acts as an intermediary between Corporate Treasury on one side, and Corporate Accounting as well as the Company’s Auditors on the other side. Further it acts as the treasury expert for all Dutch BVs. The Middle Office is responsible for (i) the reconciliation of Treasury results with Accounting results, (ii) the compliance with Corporate Treasury’s internal controls and policies, (iii) performance management and reporting, and (iv) risk measurement and modelling. Partner with internal business partners (e.g. CorporateAccounting, Global Commercial Finance, Corporate Reporting and Planning and Investor Relations). Enable fact-based decision by creating transparency on forecasted exposures. Create transparency on Cost of Sales Variance (currency effect) and Finance Result through forecasting and budgeting. Provide foreign exchange and cash flow forecast for TradeCo and all Dutch BVs. Support the analysis of cash flow movements for TradeCo and all Dutch BVs. Fulfil regulatory reporting requirements related to financial risk management activities.
