Your home area belongs to Research & Development and is located directly at the Wörth and Aksaray plants. At the interface between the development departments and the production plants, we take on a large number of tasks and functions, e.g. we ensure the buildability of every truck with AI methods. In addition, we are responsible for various development content in connection with emission-free vehicles such as fuel cell and battery-electric vehicles. Besides this you will get the chance to develop a model, how product engineering and production can work together more efficiently in the strategic framework of new technologies being developed and implemented especially in the area of zero emission and digitalization. Als Gesellschaft des Bundes gewährleisten wir den sicheren und zuverlässigen Betrieb von Zwischenlagern für hochradioaktive Abfälle. Seit 2020 führen wir auch Zwischenlager für schwach- und mittelradioaktive Abfälle an den Standorten deutscher Kernkraftwerke. Dadurch liegt die Verantwortung für die Zwischenlagerung der radioaktiven Abfälle der Energieversorgungsunternehmen zentral in unserer Hand.
