This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join Uniper's IT function in a key role with the remit to shape the future landscape of Uniper's IT. Develop and manage the application support team for SAP PO and related systems Functional responsibility for between 5 and 10 consultants from various service providers including resource planning and recruitment Ensure development and implementation of projects have an adequate service enabling process, together with project management units Coordination and management of small projects and ad-hoc business change Work with Uniper's IT suppliers in the lifecycle management process, to ensure the stability of SAP PO and related IT software and infrastructure Use your understanding of our IT processes to identify possible improvements and then work with the process owner to implement them Assist in managing Supplier relationships and ensure that Uniper is getting the best from them Actively participate in the development and rollout of Operational Excellence within the Corporate IT function Identify market opportunities beyond commodity business; keep up with of all relevant trends of the SAP and integration roadmap (HANA, Azure), the dynamic energy market and scouting of innovative ideas and people Liaise directly with the customer in order to understand service requirements and ensure strong relationship management with stakeholders We are looking for you to be a strong team player with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture effective workingrelationships, internally and externally. You lead by example todevelop the culture of continuous improvement.The ideal candidate would have: * Service Management experience and/or qualification * Experience of integration applications and techniques with particular focus on SAP PO * Experience working in an outsourced IT environment and managing suppliers * Aptitude to understand impact of changes from a technical and business point of view * Ability to work with stakeholders up to senior management level * Excellent spoken and written English and German language skills * Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally as required At Uniper we value a sustainable balance for the work done by our employees.
