Our Venture Teams take full ownership of their idea, creatively explore their business, learn fast and pivot beyond corporate boundaries. Our Venture Replique.io is offering an encrypted network of 3D Printing devices for decentral manufacturing of spare parts of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Replique solves the problem of keeping digital ownership and licensing of 3D printing files for decentral manufacturing. Thus, we fulfill customers’ needs to receive rare spare parts in lot size 1, without the need for minimum order quantities. We are looking for a motivated and highly self-driven student to support our business development phase. Are you the right one to be part of our Chemovator journey and conquer the additive manufacturing market? Your role You research which characteristics a part needs to have in order to be eligible for 3D printing, considering geometry and potential economical impact in close collaboration with our engineering department You develop a decision tree that helps our customers to find 3D printable spare parts You execute and monitor 3D print jobs and review the results together with engineers You propose redesigns of parts if needed You review existing CAD models of customers and evaluate them for 3D printing You help the development team in implementing technical knowledge in the digital product You support the founders in product strategy definition when it comes to definition of target industries and investigating suitable parts You evaluate and present your results in a coherent manner to the international team of founders and the Venture Board You will soon be completing a degree (Bachelor or Masters) in the field of mechanical engineering or related fields with above-average results You have solid understanding about manufacturing processes with the common technologies, ideally with hands on experience (e.g. through a prior apprenticeship) Experience in Additive Manufacturing and passion for the technology is a plus Knowledge of Software Tools like SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Autodesk Fusion, Materialise Magics, Slic3R, Cura or Simplify3D is yet another plus You can present your results in English, German Language is a plus A steady interaction and dialogue with experienced experts from two worlds – corporate BASF and our wide external network Use the mass of experiences of your colleagues and our Entrepreneurs in Residence to develop yourself and your Venture further Flexible working time and remote work as well as usual perks of a company in the startup environment, e.g. free drinks and an inspiring atmosphere within an unconventional location in Mannheim A competitive salary and the opportunity to be part of the growing Venture Team Replique.io, with the offer of a later job opportunity to stay onboard when the startup is going “live” Thrilled?
