GLOBALG.A.P. is a trademark and a set of standards for good agricultural practices (G.A.P.). FoodPLUS GmbH is a limited liability cooperation registered in Cologne, Germany. It manages all company’s activities worldwide from standard setting through services for its partners, marketing, certification management to integrity and serves as legal entity to hold the international GLOBALG.A.P. and GGN (consumer label for GLOBALG.A.P. certified farms) copyrights. We are looking for a Director Marketing Operations (m/f/d) in full-time (39 h/week) to start immediately. As head (m/f/d) of the Marketing Team, GGN Consumer Label Team and Capacity Building Team, you are responsible to creatively communicate the value of GLOBALG.A.P. products as a solution for food safety and sustainability in the B2B and B2C sector. 1. Technical tasks Create and develop the operational marketing plan according to the marketing strategy and take responsibility for its day-to-day implementation Work closely with team leaders and staff members in the own reporting line to build up a high-impact marketing mix Liaise with team leaders of other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service that meets market demands Define and monitor KPIs to measure the success of the executed activities Give input for budget planning and control the marketing budget; optimize the marketing investment and evaluate its return Ensure compliance with trademark and license laws and further statutory regulations, together with the legal department Keep management updated by preparing reports, creating presentations, interpreting information and making recommendations Continuously analyze and optimize our marketing processes 2. Leadership tasks Oversee and monitor the operations of the marketing department Hold regular briefings, meetings and feedback talks with the team leaders of the marketing team Develop and train marketing professionals and act as a role model for them 3. Role within the company Leverage marketing expertise to support all parts of the organization and build up strong relationships with them Deliver the vision for marketing to the management team and convey its importance for the business success Drive innovation, creativity and change Report to the responsible Vice President Master of Business Administration with focus on marketing or equivalent qualification Minimum 5 years of technical work experience in operational B2B/B2C marketing, preferably in international food- and agribusiness supply chains Proficient in English (minimum C1); working knowledge of German or Spanish (minimum B1) Proven know-how of implementing marketing strategies Excellent presentation skills Motivated and authentic leader (m/f/d) with problem-solving attitude Willingness to relocate (at least temporary) to Cologne and to travel internationally on occasion Possibility to build up and take ownership of marketing excellence in a continuously growing, purpose-driven company Integration into a dynamic, passionate and multicultural working environment Flexibility in working time and place is one of our highest principles
