As IT Architect Data Center Technologies, you will design and implement high-availability systems and solutions in our European data centers.  In addition to coordinating international IT infrastructure projects with a focus on our data centers, your responsibilities will also include advising our business departments and national subsidiaries and developing customized data center solutions. You will coordinate and implement changes and solve complex incidents in accordance with service level agreements. You will take responsibility for implementing new processes in the area of data center and provide cross-team and project-related support in the further development of our IT services. Of course, you will first get to know our products and internal processes. A strong team will always be around you, and training courses will make you fit for the job. A buddy is there for you. Speaking of the team: There are currently 13 smart people at various locations throughout Europe - all of them feel connected at the location and virtually in the team. A strong team spirit unites and grounds us. With all this, you also enjoy flexibility of place and time. Mobile working is part of our culture. Travel accounts for about 10% of our work.  Ideally, you bring a university degree in computer science or an education as an IT specialist and have several years of experience in design, implementation and operation of system architectures in the area of data center or MS Azure. If you already have knowledge in at least two of the following areas, you are the right person for us: Virtualization & Automation (VMware / vRealize) Storage & SAN (Pure & Brocade) Backup (Veritas & Veeam) Cloud-Technologien (Azure) You actively search for logical, concrete and realistic solutions. In doing so, you develop sustainable ideas to overcome obstacles and never lose sight of your customers, their wishes and expectations in your daily work. Through your creativity and innovation, you specifically promote new ideas to improve current approaches, methods, ways of working or products/services. New technologies inspire you.  You creatively use your wide scope for creativity - in the varied tasks of your position, you playfully switch between self-responsible concentration and the binding quality of a team player. You enjoy international and virtualized collaboration.  You are fluent in English and have such a good command of German that you can acquire the most important terms at any time.  Occasional business trips within Europe are no problem for you.  Work where and how you want: Flexible working hours and a modern mobile working concept allow you to organise your working day in the way that suits you best.
