The department Consolidation & Accounting is a transnational organisation with activities in France, Germany, Spain and UK with the mission to support the business in all accounting matters. We are accountable for the record-to-report process in the Airbus Defence & Space Division while delivering monthly, quarterly and year end closings on time and quality and respecting Airbus wide the Internal Control and Accounting standards. Our team is a key partner in the Airbus Defence & Space transformation initiative to harmonize and standardize the ERP landscape of the division. As Accounting Internal Control & compliance officer (d/f/m) you will be in charge of improving various topics of internal control and the design of controls that are system related in the full landscape of Airbus Defence and Space. This mission is integrated in the frame of an internal control improvement project and in the context of an ERP harmonization program for which this project should pave the way for harmonized internal control procedures. The role requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. This job is a great opportunity to work with various companies and processes, in an international landscape, implement principles of segregation of duties and practice a lot with various information systems.You main responsibilities include: In relation with the Internal Control Department within Airbus Defence and Space: - Understand the Agence Française Anticorruption (AFA) investigations, recommendations and monitoring requirements - Liaise with internal and external audit teams to understand evolving requirements - Support the documentation of key processes and controls - Help define process owners, frequency of controls and evidence requirements - Perform checks on operating effectiveness of key controls - Train staff on key processes and internal control adherence - Support process formalisation and internal control formalisation In relation with the TFDA Head of Processes:•Promote continuous improvement and lean initiatives - Promote harmonisation of processes between legal entities - Support adherence to processes Ensure compliance with standard Airbus processes and policies  This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: - You are educated to a degree level in Finance, have completed a vocational training in accounting or equivalent - You have a background in Finance and Accounting - You have in-depth knowledge of Segregation of Duties principles and experience in internal control - It is a plus, if you have an Audit background - You have (profound) knowledge of Internal Financial Control Standards - You have experience of interacting with internal and external audit teams - You are used to work with SAP Accounting Systems - You are able to articulate and document key accounting processes and controls in a clear and concise manner - You are able to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels, from different locations and backgrounds - You have strong interpersonal skills, including training and coaching of staff - Your workstyle is characterized by a continuous improvement mindset - You have international working experience - You take initiative and are committed to your job - You have good communication skills and know how to communicate towards different stakeholders and across all levels of hierarchy - You speak English and German to negotiation level and it is a plus, if you speak French as well- Challenging tasks for/with unique services and products - Pleasant working atmosphere in a professional and international work environment - Exciting development opportunities and perspectives - Extensive company training offers (eLearning and Classroom Trainings) - Flexible working hours - Compatibility of work and family life - Attractive remuneration - Company Pension Scheme - Good connections to public transport and local parking facilities - Catering facilities on site

As the successful candidate, you will be joining the Insurance Risk Management department.   The Airbus Insurance Risk Management (“IRM”) is an integrated Airbus corporate finance function. It is responsible to proactively and efficiently respond to the Group`s risks that can be treated by insurance techniques. This includes assuring adequate and optimized insurance protection for all assets, liabilities and employees of the Group.   Within IRM, the job holder is leading the corporate insurance operations dedicated to protect the employees of Airbus and its affiliated companies against Third Parties Liabilities incl. product liabilities and management liabilities (D&O) worldwide."   We are looking for a committed and passionate individual to join our team, with a strong background in Insurance or Legal, up for a new challenge in Airbus      Tasks & accountabilities Your main missions in this role can be clustered in the 4 following areas: - Global Liability Programme - Global D&O Programme - Global Criminal Law Insurance Programme - German military project insurances   More specifically, your main tasks and responsibilities will include: - Risk Identification / Assessment of annual / new exposures and respective analysis in order to recommend whether such risks are retained or transferred to insurance market. - Risk Evaluation and recommendation of appropriate risk management techniques to mitigate risks and implement risk transfer solutions. - Application of insurance modelling to determine adequate pricing and optimized risk retention levels. - Risk Transfer / Placement / Renewal process including : Designing and developing innovative, robust and optimized global & local insurance solutions considering the specific needs of the Divisions as well as the legal and social regulatory environment per country and per Insurance Line. Drafting the respective renewal submission / Request For Proposal (RFP), then selecting and mandating the most appropriate insurance carriers of the international insurance market. Negotiating the terms and conditions and respective policy wording.
