As an SEO Editorial Manager with Springer Nature, you will play an important role in continuing the digital evolution of our publishing business. The focus of your activities is on the support and continuous development of our international SEO activities and processes. These include consulting editors, journalists, and content managers on the planning, creation, and optimization of various types of editorial content for the web. You will provide data-based insights about user behaviour, search trends and report on content success metrics. Further, you will create blog posts, guidelines, interactive training resources, and much more to bring SEO closer to other departments and optimize existing processes from an SEO perspective. As a Senior Manager, Display Advertising, your prime focus is to build an efficient display team that successfully manages our international remarketing and prospecting campaigns on various providers, social media platforms, but also on advertising spaces on our own websites. Depending on the target group, you will optimize for different KPIs, from maximizing the reach of our content portals to optimizing the sales of our e-commerce stores. Key duties: Create and implement a display marketing strategy to align with business and marketing goals. Further development and strategic direction of our display campaigns. Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Display Network, Criteo, Facebook, Twitter, and possibly other platforms. Management and distribution of internal banner ad placements on our own platforms. Maintain and monitor bids, account daily and monthly budgeting, reach, CTRs and other important account metrics. Manage the creation of target audiences. Provide creative ad copy suggestions. Regularly update with the account managers of our major vendors, gather new ideas, critically evaluate their suggestions. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for targeting opportunities, campaign structuring, bid strategies and other facets of display in accordance with the respective goals. Understand and manage and review technical setup of ad accounts (e.g. tags, product feeds, GA linking etc.). Work closely with data (and SEA, affiliate) teams to create and improve product feeds. Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other display initiatives. Keep pace with display and online marketing industry trends and developments. Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with our goals. Monitor and evaluate campaign results across the major display channels. Run tests (e.g. ad copy, audiences etc.) and analyze the respective performance, makes suggestions based on these findings. Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results. Provide oversight and work closely with the other team members to meet internal goals. This exciting opportunity is responsible for managing and leading the Books Editorial Services Team, making sure the team is able to work effectively, maintaining and improving the efficiency of systems, workflows and processes.  Additionally, the role holder will coordinate with the Books Group management and teams, as well as other stakeholders within Springer Nature to embed the work of the Books Editorial Services in the context of Book Publishing. This role is part of the Books division within the Research Publishing function at Springer Nature. Manage and lead the Books Editorial Services Teams: Lead, motivate and inspire your group and make sure they can work efficiently in their important work to support book projects and editors. Define the workflows to make sure they are pragmatic, efficient, and accepted by your group as well as by editorial and production colleagues. Support a best-in-class experience for authors, editors, reviewers and readers. Build close working relationships with the Publishing VPs & the whole Books group management team to ensure that you understand their requirements and can develop a consensus view wherever possible to support the most efficient processes and practices.
